Name one good thing that's happened lately? One bad thing has happened, many bad things are rumoured to be happening. While I would normally agree with you its hard not to be gloomy. Even if we do replace some players it will be a big rebuild or patch up and we will be lucky to hit the ground running.

No point in selling top players for money just to buy other players...I'd rather keep the originals. Therefore, I suspect some of the money is going to clear other debts. I feel a touch of the Poortvleits coming on. Sod this, I'm off.

 

As a Liverpool fan for £9m I am TOO!!! Don't get me wrong- Lambert is a decent enough forward- but he would essentially be a barely used backup or a sub behind Studge and Suarez. You don't spend that sum of money on a sub who is 32 and has no resale value. It's seems silly.

Doesn't seem fair. You have been brilliant this season- it would be awful for your team to be pecked apart like that.

I've wondered if this is some practical joke that reporters have latched onto- and it gained momentum so now everyone believes it.

That's what I was wondering, because I knew that the rumour was active when Cortese departed.

Now, would I have preferred to have sold Rickie then and kept the rest of the squad, rather than sell the lot now? Hmm....

 

And what happens if say we sell 5 players but replace them 5 with 6 or 7 good players? No on can tell the future, that's just see what happens. I protested when Lowe was ****ing us up, it still didn't stop me from going to the games.
