Sadly too true. It's hard to actually like anything any more - everything turns out based on slavery, racism, sexism or run by perverts.

    Still, go Ivory Coast.

anyone except Germany, not so simply because......

....my wife is German. She is a beautiful, loving, kind, decent, gorgeous human being, just like her Mati and family except for her Father. Thankfully, that cnut has disowned her.....because of me. He and his side of the family are hateful, slimy, grey eyed, sly, peroxide (yes, he dyes his nazi hair), aryan, white supremacist pieces of sh1t whom I detest and despise with every shade of my soul for the anguish he has brought to my house.

At the last 'family' gathering (its nine years since that little earth quake and he's still shaking :emoticon-0140-rofl:),they, him and his kin announced to all attending that his daughter was no longer welcome in his presence as she had 'shacked up' with a man of "feiger memme"; or little people, cowardly. It describes we Welsh as a cowardly people with no heart, character, backbone, courage, soul or God. It is a huge insult in Bovarian culture.

But corporal Jones was right, they don't like it up them, and they certainly didn't like it when I reminded them all, that they, him and his fowl kin, are nothing more than the offspring of cold, long dead relics who's faded dreams, ideals, history and ideology are nothing more than the butt of many a Mel Brooks gag. Mein Gott the place exploded, glasses and tables everywhere, they hated that.

If England put them out the tournament his pain would be exquisite and my joy relentless.

So come on any one except Germany.....shame I've been tainted this way because I truly love the country and 99.999......% of its people. Its only one peace of sh1t I detest, and I hate him ever more for that.

I would like a new winner. It would be nice to see an African nation braking the grip, but I can't see any of their teams ready to win it yet, so i'll settle for Portugal <ok>

Brazil cheated that win and its obvious that they have got the refs on the pay role and there will be only one winner than will be Brazil....

It will be interesting to see how the French, Germans and Argies go now as Brazil don't look that great and Holland are also struggling.

I've enjoyed Chile the most so far, shame they went out.

well my CIV have gone and was going to change my team to Holland, But after watching the way Robben has thrown himself around the field I just cant bring my self to do it.
So I have decided that I will follow Columbia as they play with a smile on their face and I love the goal celebrations. Then it has to be Germany, as my sister has married into a german family and i am there 2 or 3 times a year. Mind you dont know if I could take it when i am there in august if they do win the WC.

I wouldn't mind seeing Columbia do well also. Other than that I'm not shouting for anyone. I am liable to turn against any team that indulges in cheating though!

I have family in Austria but they're not into football and even if they were there's no great love for Germany there (or here). If Argentina and Belgium don't up their game today then it's going to be anyone's cup to go and win. As there's been no stand out side we could see things tighten up in the next round as things get cagey. Although Brazil may be forced to "go for it" due to the home support and expectation.

On cheating, a quote from World Cup 2014: The quirks of football that baffle Americans...
