He actually said he had invited Colin to the game on Saturday, although he couldn't make it. Sounds like they did have a very good relationship, it was just that the results at the time meant that a change really needed to be made. In a way, it's a shame what then happened, because Sparky thinks the team stayed up because of him, rather than in spite of his presence.

Tryspin, agree TF deserves some of the blame, but he openly admits he was naive. Hughes took advantage of his naivety !!! I mean buying Green, then soon afterwards buying Cesar !! ffs Boswanker was always going to be a failure, you could see it from his last days at Chelsea; he didnt give a fork.
