Have just read that Two Bob is not starting with us until 30 June (source: Club Sec), and that the players report back for pre season training on 26 June. That leaves us with no manager for the whole of June.....I wonder who will be handling the recruitment of new players .... and Lawrence Bloom leading the squad when they return.
I think as head coach, Bob wouldn't be too involved in player recruitment anyway would he? Surely this is why he was picked Riga.
I read this on CL and didn't believe it. If the club sec is your source I'll think again, but I can't grasp the idea, I'm afraid. It makes my brain hurt.

I know that Mr Pedantic, I was making the wider point about us being in limbo now for 4 weeks, and the players walking back in to the sight of Larry Bloom in the hot seat. The chances of Diego Poyet re-signing just went from 1% to zero.
Just realised why Bob can't start until 30 June - he is in Brazil for the World Cup.. signing us some new players.
It's not unusual for Bloom to take the players for the first few days. They have their end of pre season testing, the bleep test etc.
