That line would read "bar the top 2 teams" a couple of years ago. It can be done, a team can break in to an apparent monopoly. Usually it's done by clubs that get on with it, focusing to better themselves, and the clubs that b*tch and cry are the ones that suffer.
Me too. It's ultimately a fundamentally flawed view anyway, as the greed of today would lead to a famine tomorrow, as the value of the product would fall as it became steadily more uncompetitive

The thing that stinks about that is- if we ended up with a two club dominance like many countries- it would likely be Manchester 1 and Chelsea since those are our two teams with all the oil money. Us, Manchester 2, Arsenal... we wouldn't be invited to the party.
well not if ffp works and then all the tv moeny floods in.... i mean ok teams have had a basic lock on the whole thing in spain and juve have bounced right back to the top in italy so yeah the biggest would be at the top but theres no reason to think that we'd not be able to get there
