Tottenham have the highest number of manager turnover in the premiership. Before putting pen to paper he had dinner with Southampton captain Adam Lallana. Adam Lallana target for Liverpool, is he going to Liverpool or Tottenham.? Vote: Mauricio Pochettino going to last a season. Mauricio Pochettino going to last more than a season. Adam Lallana coming to Liverpool Adam Lallana going to Tottenham.
I think he'll do a good job as long as he's given time and that's the big question will he be given time if they dont get Champions league?
This needs a poll I suggest 6, 9 and 12 months and then the wildly optimistic 9 years or some such Levy has unrealistic ambitions and is hurting the clubs development as zero stability = zero player development over time Anyway.... My votes then Lallana to go to spurs, I simply don't buy the link to lfc... I think we are looking further a field My other vote will be for Pinocchio to last more than a year but the puppet master will pull his strings the entire time
Ginola has come out said that Pinocchio needs time, but that's the one thing that Levy doesn't give his managers. AVB was a decent manager but he was the fall guy for the Spurs board pissing 110m up the wall and got sacked, they then had Nice but Dim, again sacked. I wonder if the Spuds can make it a record and sack three managers in the space of a year ?
I think this is like Ramos and frankl 2/3 guys are needing to be sold Adebayor is a bad influence in there if not picked for example. Vertongen is the same, unfortunately loris might want to go If this is done then it's down to results, Ramos by all logic should not have been in the relegation zone but was... For many reasons. For me spurs need a partner for soldado and if they do that 4-6th is where they still are however they have to also accept that they are fighting lfc utd arsenal and Everton and all 4 will be able to deliver 70 points due to the complete muck in the bottom half (for me the prem has become a 7 team league and the rest frankly can pick up a result but are really really poor) Next season will be interesting
It was wisdom..because the King wanted to know the true mother of the baby. Truth was established eventually.
I can't see him lasting a year. He left Espanyol in a relegation battle after being sacked and his win percentage with Southampton was 38.3% (he was only there a short time and new managers always have a honeymoon period). He got wins over Liverpool & Newcastle (who were dire in the 2nd half of last season) but we also beat Southampton 0-3 at St. Mary's, Spurs did the double over them, Chelsea put 6 past them over 2 games and they didn't even beat Manchester United last season (home or away) and that in itself should get alarm bells ringing If you apply that over a season his win rate over a 38 game season and then give him the 11 points for his draws this season you're looking at 55 points. He is extremely unproven in the top flight and Spurs should really have looked elsewhere as there is every possibility that he could have done a Phil Brown at Southampton. AVB had pedigree with winning the Portugese league and Europa League at Porto and managing Chelsea (with quite a high win percentage). This time next year they'll have Rafa Benitez as manager
A strange appointment, I don't see what he's done to justify a 5 year deal at Spurs. The fact that he's been over here for over a year and still doesn't give interviews in English is also piss poor
