My dad just got a copy of the SLP and he's just text me to say AD goes to town on RD - saying CP and JR were both instructed to play individuals from ''the network'' and JR was advised on team selections. Will post a full summary when I get a copy tonight, if the SLP don't put it online before then.
I saw that the ever reliable Cawley tweeted last night the SLP would include interviews with both AD and Ben Hamer, this could be an explosive edition and one I am intruiged to read.
This will undo the work that Chris Powell done so hard. He got rid of the boo boys, and gave us something to cheer about. First game of the season, he don't win, they'll be out there boo'ing him. If we don't make any signings, rather than these S@#t Liege rejects, we're going to be relegated. Last season proved, that none of them with the exception of Ajdarevic, they were shocking. Thuram was terrible, Ghoochanneijhad couldn't hit the target.
Agreed, I don't understand some of the criticism of Reza... He proved to have quality in vital games.. Arguably he wasn't up to speed with the Championship, but that doesn't mean he couldn't get there...
I wonder what PV would think. Was it similar to the structure ID faced under RM following AC? I'm sure KM will respond in the SLP or the OS PDQ.
Has been confirmed as the new Charlton Head Coach... http://www.cafc.co.uk/news/article/20140527-bob-peeters-appointed-head-coach-1574983.aspx
The OS informs us that he once scored a hat-trick for Belgium..............against San Morino. As RD himself would say, time will tell if he has made the right decision.
I agree reza scored a gr8 goal and came very close on a number of occasions hitting all parts of the woodwork in several games. Far better than church for those of us that actually went to the games and suffered. With a bit more championship experience I think reza will come good, AA was good too
"Cercle Brugge appointed AA Gent reserves coach Bob Peeters as their new manager. It will be Peeters' first experience in the Pro League. This season also brought Cercle's first European attendance in the 2010–11 UEFA Europa League, where they defeated TPS from Finland and reached the third qualifying round were they stranded against Anorthosis Famagusta FC. In November 2012 Peeters was fired for poor results. Despite attracting star player Eidur Gudjohnsen, he failed to get Cercle away from that last place and was replaced bij Foeke Booy." What a name for a manager - Foeke Booy!! Try saying that with a Belgian accent
TC - Didn't Millwall have a manager called Foeke Orf ? Or is that what you end up saying to all of them....
