Every angle you could wish for Ubes; I love the last one from behind Redknapp.
Nice one, Nines. That's twice this week I've heard the expression "...throw up in my own mouth". Flyer and now Hitler. Strange bedfellows.
I'll never tire of watching that fantastic moment. Here's Bobby's 2005 Championship playoff final winning goal for West Ham against Preston North End (1-0) at the Millenium Stadium, scored under similar circumstances after a slip by a Preston player. Lost my voice, hugging strangers, tears welling up in my eyes, I reckon there was about 80 to 100 in there supporting Rangers but fair play to the four or five Derby fans that were there. Pandemonium when that ball hit the net, beer everywhere, people slipping over rolling about cuddling each other, absolutely mental! I was behind the pillar watching the screen nearest the bar by the way.
Cheers Col, great night with more to come in the Turf next season I suspect, Mark who's the driving force behind Melbourne R's has done a fantastic job. We had a raffle for a signed shirt before the game and he put together a video montage of the season together which included a message from Tony Fernandes. When I walked in I was amazed at how many Rangers fans were in there! So if any of you lot pop down this way, expect a welcome reception at the Turf!
Only just noticed that we actually out numbered them in the box at the time of the goal as Charlie was to Bobby's left and Barton had made a storming unmarked break into the box to Charlie's left......Derby just forgot how to defend...... Still can't get over the noise from our end when the ball hit the net.....
I've tried to put a photo on here of me and my two lads in the ground, but it says the file is too big. How can a photo be bigger than the videos etc that are posted?
I noticed that too mate. I think it was a combination of them thinking about extra time and switching off as they'd had nothing to defend. Look at their players as the ball is crossed and they all look half asleep. Bobby has space, Charlie has loads of space and so does the arriving Barton. Quite remarkable!
