Surely if the allegations are true then we are not the only club affected? Where are all their complaints? Maybe it makes no difference to them about points but they have ( allegedly) been sinned against as much we have. Surely they want to see sinners punished - but silence is deafening.

yes every team has been wronged if the allegations are true but the penalty to wycombe would be a points deduction and not all teams get the points from wycombe that they lost. so the teams it will effect will be whoever is below wycombe who will profit from their points deduction which is just us <ok>

I'm very uncomfortable with this, i agree you should stick to the rules but this will not only be papering over the cracks, this will be papering over a dirty great big hole in the wall. It could realistically also bankrupt and destroy WWFC which doesn't lie easily with me as i don't like to see any club go to the wall as no football fan deserves that.

Totally agree. We are where we are because we were **** over 46 games. I'm not happy about this at all. The board should shut up and then **** off. They're making a bad situation worse.

**** me. I've been away and come back to this. I'm wishing I hadn't come back.

It all seems very distasteful and I would like to think that, had it been the other way round, our board would not have stooped this low. I'm sure that, if they would have done so, our fans would have a similar reaction to those on here. It will undoubtedly cause a lot of ill feeling between the BR board and Wycombe but it's not the fans' fault so no reason for it to affect relationships on here.

This all came to light 9 months ago when Blackpool were selling Matt Philips to QPR but didn't want to pay the sell on clause they owed Wycombe which Wycombe's new owners us the fans (Trust) owed to the previous owner Steve Hayes who is renowned for his dodgy dealings (see phone hacking inquiry) one of his doggy deals was to never give the club any money but just loans which he wanted back when the Trust (fans) took control so all sell on clauses were to be paid to Hayes and he would pay any agents fees involved how the robbing :bandit: was alowed to get away with this god and the FA only knows the stumbling block was that Blackpool and QPR didn't want the previous arangment so a flat fee was paid as far as i know to Hayes to get rid of any sell on fee it was then up to Hayes to pay the agent which he obviously didn't do. As far as I'm aware all the sell on clauses on players from our now ex-academy have been removed so there are no third party involvement exists. The only wrong doing WWFC Trust is guilty of is naivety so be wary of so called rich owners Technically sell on clauses are third party ownership I hope this clarifies it somewhat

thing is us fans on both sides morally know whats right and wrong. we deserve to go down as the table dont lie. both sides agree this.
but i can see where the club is coming from this. the league status is on the line and financially that will hurt the board of directors. so i do think if it was the other way around that wycombe would complain too.

So could this whole debarcal also affect the teams at the top as well then?.......What if the teams that missed out on auto spots kick up a fuss and say "If cheating WW hadn't beat us we would of gone up in second spot" ect ect. If the FA juggle about with the relegation positions then surely they must do the same at the top if those teams complain?
I think myself if any punishment will be issued to WW it will be a fine now or a fine and points deduction next season.

Beats the hell out of Corrie though!

No as explained comment 69 <ok>

If they are guilty then it's a punishment to Wycombe. No other team will get a points deduction or awarded new points. Meaning no teams will be effected apart from teams who would benefit from Wycombes point deduction which would be us.

And i thought the summer (supposed summer) was boring!
I don't personally think much will come out of this. Can't see how we gained any competitive advantage either from last season and it looks like we have been very open and honest with the FA over the previous ownerships dodgy deals
Truth is, BR were **** and went down and we were just a teeny bit less ****tier and stayed up by the skin of our teeth!

Guess it gives us all something to read over the next week or two!
