He is only at United still because he is English, if he was a foreigner he be long gone. How he starts over Hernandez I don't know.

at last you recognise that our squad was not as good as you previously thought..<ok> There are very few quality definite starters in that squad...

Its miles better than you make out Smith.

Anyone who thinks its **** is an idiot. cardiff have a **** squad, Celtic have a **** squad.

We have a very good squad that has now been effected by retirements and contracts ending.

Now if we were talking starting 11's, I would probably agree ours isnt brilliant compared with some clubs. Its been the case for a while. we have lacked individuals but have usually had a very good team. Last season we lacked both and didnt have any individuals to save the day ( RvP the season prior ).

we also had the most clueless idiot in the league as manager which magnified our issues 10 fold. It wont take long before the last remaining few change their opinion.... just as they did on Moyes when I said they would.

So no, we are not the best team with the best players but nor are we the worst side ever. We are a very good side who with a good manager who enjoys winning will do well.

    Do you actually watch football?

Welbeck is usually started out of position on the left. I can't see Hernadez being a great winger if I'm honest!

Welbeck has started more then double the games as striker then Hernandez did last season as well as being played on the wing. At one point last season Rooney and RVP were both out at the same time for about a month or 2 and Welbeck started virtualy all these games when it should have been Hernandez. Just look at there goal records it says it all.

  10. I've said a few times on here, Welbeck isn't the greatest striker in the world and he isn't the best you guys have got either, but he makes you a much better team when he is on the pitch because he is the only one you have that creates space through movement.

    This^

For what he lacks in quality he makes up for it with the pace to open up defences allowing other players opportunities.

Rather Hernandez up front then Welbeck though. I play Hernandez with Rvp and Rooney just behind in a diamond formation.

We can`t play anybody up top with RVP, he works best as a sole striker. You either play RVP or Hernandez but not both together. As people have said, Welbeck stretches teams with his pace and movement and creates space for strikers like RVP and Hernandez to use.

  18. I thought that would have been a nice gesture. Obviously they'd have to be in the half you're attacking, they'd be safe as houses :p

And he holds the ball up very well, as well as play in others. Something that he also excels at for England.

Funny diamond, more like a triangle. You must have missed shapes class at school

Welbeck is technically far better than Hernandez, can hold a ball up and control a ball that has been played up to him.
