That's how DT rocks it anyway. I wonder how many people will be buying the £90 version of it? You might as well pay £15 for a pub shirt and sew a badge on from the old lotto gear.
Arsenal had to endure the same situation in their first year with Nike. QPR made this deal with them while we were a Championship club.
How can they release a catalogue shirt at a packed launch even today. My son was looking forward to getting a shirt with a Premier League badge on the arm again. Even though he's 10 I think he'll question the hoop thickness
Here's how to support our club and buy a new shirt. Go to our club shop and spend £30 quid on a Guinness retro top. Bargain. http://www.shop.qpr.co.uk/gb/produc...c,timestamp_desc&page_size=12&secid=69&page=2

I agree that they are not great in the slightest. But as already mentioned, according to Ian Taylor (so I'm assuming it's true) all team in their first year of a contract with Nike have to go with a design (not sure if Nike choose the design) from their own catalogue range. I can only think that this is to obviously promote their own product the let us design our own one after that. I don't see why we didn't have the same design for the home and away and just change the colours. But I guess again that's because they want to promote as many types of kit in their range as possible. Tony has already said it's not great and will consult with the fans next season so we just have to grin and bear it, and to have one of the best kit deals in the premier league I think I can accept that for one season. I personally liked last seasons kit and a lot of people didn't. It's all about individual taste, but I accept it's not really right to go to stripes for the away kit. Also as afew people have said today if the kit is our only worry then happy days! Only afew days gone and people are back to moaning again.
I think they're fantastic, gorgeous, wonderful, quality, superb and just the ticket. In other news, Uber gets carted off to the funny farm.
Literally the only good thing about it is none of them are the skin tight shirts because they are made for 18 stone fatboys thundering around on a Sunday. At least they should be normal sizes. Its the 7th best deal in the PL, so its the biggest after the scum, Liverpool, arsenal, spurs, man u and man city.
Apparently it's in the contract that for the first year we have to accept a design from the Nike catalogue, hence why it looks like a generic Nike top. But from year 2 on we have control over the design. Looks like we have to live with it I'm afraid, I'm not happy, but after the weekend I think we can live with it in the Premiership.
Does look v much like the Reading kit. Really don't like the big white patch on the back. Still I'd be happy to see us play in a bin liner if it meant being back in the Prem
That's the reason why we have to put up with them for a season unfortunately. At least we're wearing them in the Prem though.
Guys, we get 45 million for going with Nike, it's one of the biggest kit deals ever. I know it's not great, but the club have done a good bit of business there, after the first season the kits will be selected by the fans and how many clubs do that for the fans?
That's great. Genuinely a brilliant deal. The kit is still an embarrassment though, and the club would have been expecting this reaction, and will ride it out.
