Me neither Mel...I don't want drums and someone stood in front of the stand with a mega phone conducting the crowd....or some dick on the tanoy .
I'd ignore them on purpose .

I think the problem is under 21s have been priced out of football and that age group were often the most vocal . extend the north stand and fill it with under 21s at a fiver a ticket ...

So many at the junior tigers school would love to go to the footy but can't afford it ...if that's the same at most schools it wouldn't be a problem to increase the fan base .

    Oldtras? The hell?

****ing hell, I'm not a snob or categoriser of fans but I might need to move...

Fairly healthy mix around me, but the fella next to me does tut a lot but hardly makes any other noises at all. I never really thought about it until now.

    Oldtras. Actually, thats kinda cool.

    Meh.

I like the view from my seat and in the row there are some decent blokes.

I was talking to a bloke who sits next but one to me before the FA Cup final about the match and how my view at the semi was fine etc. He said something that I found really interesting. He was an ex east stander, he moved because he felt like a change and said that since sitting in the West Stand Upper, he gets so absorbed in the game that he forgets to sing and chant and I know exactly what he means. Sitting there with a view of all of the action simply changed the way I act. It's a bit like watching on the tv, but better. I enjoy the home games far more than the away's, when I tend to stand and sing. I sit fairly central, in line with the away dugout and the view is perfect.

I think Filey has a point. I think since moving to the KC we have alienated the working class youth by pricing them out of the opportunity of falling in love with City. Not just our club, but Premier League football in general. These would have been the people now generating the atmosphere. I think that and Humberside Police and the KC stadiums determination to keep away anyone who has in the past been what some may perceive to be unruly.

I think you have a very good point, I got started watching City because I played for the school team, and there were passes that got you in for half price which all schools were given. The school I was at gave the team the chance of getting this half price pass, I wonder if they still do this?

Schools do get tickets, but only once or twice a season. It is difficult. Southampton used to have a junior section, where the kids would all sit together.
