Think players being realistic about wages is unlikely if coming up for a last payday they're going to be looking to grab as much as possible & longest contract possibly & we really don't want to get fingers burnt again. So whilst there clearly good players who would add to our squad in the short term I really hope we stand firm this time & not bend over to the agents.
Precisely ......... The last thing we want is some spiv to unsettle the team, regardless of how good he may be. Harry should instigate a Diickhead Free Policy for any new prospect.
I wouldn't mind the club taking a punt on Jack Collison. Had a lot of potential but didn't fit into fat Sam's playing style. He's only 25 and can play anywhere in midfield but is a bit injury prone.
He did it for them against us at LR I seem to remember........does not fill me with excitement though.
