Best Driver: No one really stood out for me. I'll go for Grosjean though, did well to make it back to eighth after starting 14th and making two early stops. Worst Driver: Sutil - I thought his overtake on Grosjean was clumsy and then he binned and brought out the safety car. Best Rookie: Magnussen - Really solid all weekend, great awareness to avoid being hit by Vergne and Hulkenberg, before Raikkonen eventually paid him back for earlier in the season. Best Team: Marussia - huge result for them. Worst Team: Red Bull - every ****ing weekend it's something. Why did they send Seb back out? His weekend was over, all they doing was risking a grid penalty by sending him out with a malfunctioning engine, he'll probably end up needing another gearbox in Montreal after that. Best Overtake: Hulkenberg and Bianchi were lucky to still be in the race after theirs, so Ill go for Raikkonen's start. Most Surprising Result: Marussia Least Surprising Result: Mercedes Race Rating: 7/10 - It had its moments
Bianchi pretty much drove Kobayashi into the barriers, hitting him three times in the process in a DoG move, if that had been against a bigger team not even Bianchi's Ferrari contacts would've saved him.
Best Driver: Bianchi Worst Driver: Gutierrez- His usual nothingness and then when somehow... somehow a chance for much needed points for Sauber presents itself he takes the rear wheel off on the wall under no pressure. Hopeless. Best Rookie (Magnussen, Kvyat, Ericsson): Tough one, Magnussen, not much to chose between them, Kvyat unlucky his car broke. Best Team: Mercedes. Worst Team: Sauber. Best Overtake: Funniest-moment:Bianchi on Kobayashi just from the hulk on kmag. Most Surprising Result: Bianchi's.marussia's points. Least Surprising Result: Mercedes 1-2, Hamilton whining, Button's negativity. Special Mention to: Ericsson for by a mile his best race so far. Race Rating: 7/10
Best Driver: Bianchi Worst Driver: Hamilton. When will this tw@t stop whinging. Best Rookie (Magnussen, Kvyat, Ericsson): Magnussen Best Team: For sheer effort and achievement, Marussia Worst Team: Ferrari. Maybe next year they'll get a car that will stop getting lapped. Best Overtake: Bianchi on Kobayashi Funniest-moment: Hamilton not having things his way aaaawww diddums Most Surprising Result: Bianchi Least Surprising Result: Mercedes 1-2 Special Mention to: Marussia!!! Race Rating: 7/10 Best Commentator/Presenter The guy on RTL Germany. Couldn't understand a word he was saying, but anyone's better than Sky!
Best Driver: Bianchi Worst Driver: Chilton Best Rookie (Magnussen, Kvyat, Ericsson): Ericsson, though Kvyat was looking good until his car trouble Best Team: Difficult one this as no one team had 2 drivers that performed particularly well. I guess Marussia for getting Bianchi in the points despite his penalty etc. Worst Team: Sauber Best Overtake: Sutil had some good ones before he arsed it, Hulk on Mag was good too. Funniest-moment: Ben Edwards and Coulthard identifying every driver/car incorrectly whenever something happened. Most Surprising Result: Bianchi of course! Least Surprising Result: Mercedes Special Mention to: McLaren for finally getting some points again. Race Rating: 6/10 Best Commentator/Presenter: Nobody really
Best Driver: Bianchi Worst Driver: Gutierrez Best Rookie (Magnussen, Kvyat, Ericsson): Magnussen Best Team: Mercedes Worst Team: Sauber Best Overtake: Hulkenberg on Magnussen Magnussen and Bianchi were worthy contenders but the cheekiness and opportunism of Hulkenberg's stood out for me. Funniest-moment: Raikkonen 'overtake' on Magnussen. Most Surprising Result: Marussia scoring points Least Surprising Result: Mercedes 1-2 Special Mention to: Ricciardo and Marussia Race Rating: 8/10 Definitely one of the better Monaco's I've seen Best Commentator/Presenter Edwards? I only get BBC so can't really compare.
Did anybody actually see Bianchi's 'over-take'? It was shocking, how he didn't get a penalty is beyond me TBH. three times he hit Kobay, putting him into the barrier and effectively out of the race.
Yes, you've already mentioned it a few posts ago. No one cares as we all think it was pretty good and opportunistic at a place like Monaco.
Plus if you go back to Japan (where Kobay was getting this "he can overtake" from the fans) he did the exact same, if anything, Kobay should have left more room than he did.
