Today's racing comes from Carlisle, Cartmel, Leicester, Redcar and Windsor in the Uk and Ballinrobe across the sea in Ireland. I can't pick much at the moment but I think Trixie Malone in the opener at Leicester can complete the 4 timer. Also will have it in a double with Double Up in the 3.55. Good luck to all who plat today.
Hello lads. Some decent Bank Holiday action tomorrow. Carry On Spying 1.05 UK Gold is too good to miss...great value. The excellent Jim Dale always delivers in such events.
Double Up looks a well handicapped sprinter, should take a bit of beating at Leicester. Redcar hosts the race of the day I think, Stampede looked to have plenty in hand at Windsor, Al Busayyir's form has worked out nicely and Dullingham should be much better here, but I have been quite taken by Libran and 79 might underestimate him. Over at Windsor, Piazon is turned out quickly after not having much of a race in the hottest 3yo sprint handicap of the season at York, its no gimmie with some half decent runners but he could be a step up from these.
Some good opportunities on paper - no doubt the weather will play it's usual part however. Redcar 4.15 Ajmany 3-1 This is a great bet as the horse ran very well indeed on his debut this year considering Luca Cumani never has a horse ready first time up. With the usual improvement this horse should take all the beating. 5.15 Blue Top 6-1 This horse is pretty much a repeat of the above in that he ran well first time up against a very progressive Lady Cecil horse, the selection will strip fitter for the run and has the bonus of not minding soft going. Windsor 4.40 Number One London 7-1 This horse is a value price as I feel it is only between the favourite Saigon City and this fella. Number one London ran a well handicapped Top Diktat close at the course a short while ago and I feel is on a decent enough mark. I have not backed the horse yet as I am hoping that Betvictor will offer a reasonable price without the fav. 5.40 Midnight Rider 11-2 Ran a cracker last time and I fancy the selection to reverse form with Links drive lady.
know this know the rules wins 5pm at Cartmel get the wheel barrow ready and get on very early as it will go off odds on stay frosty
Very quiet on the home front again , Stretford for a day out with the bards today so had my play last night and this mornings. Nothing special Redcar silvery moon ew beat the shower ew Leicester corn maiden minstral lad ew MR LANDO Carlisle tectonic ew hakuna matata good luck all
Evan Williams has two running today at Cartmel ew singles and double for me 3:25 - Get It On 7/1 4:00 - Makethemostofnow 14/1
The 4:50 looks a tricky one to solve a number of horses look capable of taking a hand in it. Two I like are Bapak Bangsawan 12/1 & The Strig 33/1. Not backing both though so am being greedy and going for The Strig ew at the bigger price
Greetings fellow forum members, raising my head above the parapet today after a sorrowful w/e. Congratulations to QPR and their n606 based supporters. Harry needs to invest in a new midfield if he is going to survive in the prem. Just catching up on the scoop 6 action from Saturday, see half the country fell at the first hurdle. Going to concentrate on Hannon/hughes mounts at windsor today.
Afternoon all, some tricky cards today!! Going to side with Links Drive Lady in the last at Windsor -a competitive handicap -yard won it last year with Tropics -while this horse is not in that league, she does hold her form well and has the right man on Top!
Derby were way the better team, there is no doubt in my mind about that. QPR owe everything to their defence and Rob Green, a fine goalkeeper, but were very lucky to steal this one. Derby should make promotion easily next season with this squad of players. I wish them well.
