Get a grip, never said or implied he is a 'bad' person.

Unless of course you deem Bookmakers as a benefit to society.

Spent what £100 million to date and how much income from Sky alone in the last 5 seasons, plus; plus.plus.

Never mind the tax loss/benefits for Bet365!!!

Do the maths and then tell me I am wrong. I won't hold my breath.

absolutely spot on, how anyone can slate Coates for what he has done for our club is beyond me. I hope we keep going like we are and not rely on a chairman bailing us out every season.

we got 70 million for where we finished in the prem, our wage bill was 53 million, we bought crouch for 12 million, with our shirt sponsors etc we just broke even, the myth that the coates family are creaming money out of stoke is wrong.

Either way, I think we are lucky to have Coates. There's so much money grabbing and corruption in today's game, I'd be surprised if any chairman wasn't even just a little bit bent. It could be worse, we could have Mike Ashley, Vincent Tan, or that fella with the mighty moustache at Fulham. Although I'm not sure Fulham's man is dodgy, maybe just a little clueless.
