    I know we'll probably come lower than 8th next season and Man Utd will probably finish higher than 7th, but based on last season it isn't a huge improvement.

    My biggest reason for wanting Pochettino to stay is because it might encourage the players to stay. If Shaw and Lallana are leaving regardless, then it doesn't really matter so much about Pochettino. He's a good manager, but there are other good managers.

    We turned down an offer for one of our players from Galatasaray today. Apparently they are interested in Fonte?

    There was a big rumour that they wanted Fonte last summer.

    I think Dani would be excellent out there. He'd really like the calm atmosphere they play in.

    Anyone reckon Will Hughes is worth trying for..?
    I think he's going to be very, very good in a year or two. In my opinion, he needs the extra quality challenge to step up.

    He's worth trying for, absolutely. Imagine that he would be an extremely expensive proposition however, given that Derby is very good financial shape and it's doubtful that we'd be his only suitor.
