Well guys... That was euphoric!! Thought we made the great escape today... but nothing matters, WE WON!!!! Celebration Indian meal on Rayners Lane right now - he pint of Cobra is pouring between my Cheshire Cat smile like a golden liquid pleasure!!! An amazing day, full of all kinds of emotions. Most of all - pleased for the fans to have a Wembley win and for TF and the QPR players!! ****ing Amazing!!!!! I shall enjoy my celebration meal and long journey back to Dorset this evening You RRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrsssssssss!!!!!!
Just got home - what a day! When the rain was falling pre-match, it was clear that the team who made the least mistakes would win, and that it would be a miracle if everyone stayed on the pitch. The second bit proved true, but not in the way I thought, when O'Neill 'took one for the team' and chanced his arm - a dodgy tactic with Lee Mason in charge of the cards. I can't really remember much else, aside from the final minute! Suffice to say we were lucky not to be three down at least. My MOM was Rob Green for keeping us in the game. Then up stepped Bobby. their defence was clearly getting twitchy with their inability to score, and it showed. Wonderful finish, and then elation a few minutes later. Now I'm here with beer and pizza. And happy!!
Well done you lot... I guess it's QPR v Chelsea again next season then! Another trip to Loftus Road for me I'm sure and we might get a win! Bring. It. On.
Evening fellow Hoops. Just back home from Wembley. What a day. Feel drained and lost my voice but what a joy to see 40k R's going large. It was absolute pandemonium when Zammo hit that beauty. Was there in '86 and at Cardiff too so 3rd time lucky for me. U R'ssssssss!
Just got home, what a fantastic day! A game we weren't really in and hanging on with 10 men for penalties, then up steps Zamora, butt of so much abuse on here for the past two and a half years to score a cracker! The blue and white end of the stadium went absolutely barmy, I don't think I've experienced anything like that in the 48 years I've been an R, relief, elation and sheer ecstasy all rolled into one. The scenes at the end will stay etched in the memory forever, we finally did it, albeit the bloody hard way, and we're back in the bigtime. Just waiting for my takeaway curry to be delivered and a perfect end to a perfect day...
Totally mixed emotions about today - first the euphoria of winning, but second how 'arry got his team selection and subs totally wrong.
You thought otherwise about todays game? It was **** from start to finish, not a bit of quality on show. Even the goal was poor!
I didn't say that did I? The game wasn't great, but how can you say the goal was poor? It was a quality finish curled past the Derby keeper - quick thinking by Zamora to hit it first time
Very intellectual nickname. Can you speak or just grunt. Do us a favour and go back to plastic team board.
