Even though it was an utterly ace day last Saturday, the aftermath stings a bit â we were that close to glory. But, looking back, if I had to pick one of those three Wembley games to lose, Iâd have picked the one we actually lost â the FA Cup Final. Six years ago changed Hull City forever. After that, the hoodoo was broken and we all knew that we could do it again if we went down. The Semi Final win again represented the huge shift in stature â our first FA Cup Final and our first European campaign as we transform from plucky Premier League survivors to a club and a team that deserves its place at the top table. So raise a jar to Phil Brown and the 2008 promotion team â they changed City forever.
out of interest if you went to all of the above dates in hull citys history as i did, does it still make me a part time supporter,or a supporter who was lucky to be on there on the day.as i live to far away to be a season ticket holder.
Time travel is a breeze, just got back from this day six years in the future, EUFA Champions league final, can't tell you the result but Tigers fans will be happy.
