http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/sou...s-availability-for-playoff-final-9423836.html They say they have not given permission
The Standard doesn't like us and I wouldn't put it passed them to stir the pot. I don't see Harry/ the club publicly saying he can stay (to the point it's on Sky sports news) without some sort of OK from South Korea, but we know the newspaper press like to print what they like in this country.
Especially the Standard. Definitely like them to stir things up the day before the biggest game we've had for many years. The club keeping silent is a proper response. They know what's actually going on far better than some jaded hack at a provincial rag with a chip on his shoulder.
They should be behind the London club. Disgraceful. I do like the thought of the club answering a phone call from the Koreans, taking a message and not calling back!
Is someone on Twitter? Does TF know about this shzt stirring yet? We should get a response out from the club and dispel the story if it is not true. We don't want another Faurlingate on our hands when we beat Derby!!!
Do any R's over in South Korea, Japan or elsehere in Asia who may have a local slant on this? ..pun not intended!
It's a free newspaper too be fair. I hate them though. Always amazes me how much they ignore us. Brentford and Leyton Orient got more coverage then us this year. Fair point!!!! By the way this time tomorrow...!!!!!!
I know most fans think the media is against their team but the fail and standard really do take it to extremes with us. I don't notice it with any other publications though, they all seem pretty fair.
Other sites like WLS suggest everything is OK. We will see tomorrow, it wouldn't surprise me if they were making it up in a desperate attempt to destabilise the team like dick menace used to do to try and help out Norwich.
I think that the clue in the article are the words "unnamed source"..... That means that either the story is just completely made up, or it's based upon a quote from someone who has absolutely no authority to speak on behalf of the Korean FA. Either way it's a typical Standard non-story.
