is SF the fella that was dismissed during the seasoon after our relegation from the PL So we are appointing someone who has a history of not getting teams out of the championship - oh good

That's kind of where I am. Hurting much more than relegation... I'd prepared for that from the end of the 2013 season.

Just absolutely gutted. I really hope, as somebody has written above, in a few weeks this won't seem so bad. Was genuinely feeling upbeat about our relegation - a clean slate and all that.

I have just got my findings from mates who have played at Needham and from a close friend who is a former player at ITFC.

Supers you may have a different experience, but thats fine. the one thing i will agree with you is Klug is the main man and i for one am glad he is still with ITFC.

The dust had settled, I'd had time to think rationally about Neeyul's appointment and was coming round to the idea that things might not be so bad after all. Neeyul bleeds yellow and green like most of us fans and has the fight and passion that we need right now, but then ..........................

I log on to my 'putor and read this FFS, I'm only surprised they didn't ask Worthy back <doh>

Time for Delilah and ****-Jones to fly the nest !

I don't want them to fly the nest as you put it, I think we should feel lucky to have owners who genuinely cares for the club.

But if anything I want them to leave the big football decisions to more experience football minded people.

At this stage though we don't know if this is a bad decision or a good one, Adams is an unknown, he could turn out to be great.

Aside from the lambert years, I can find very little to argue in favour of keeping them at the helm. More than happy for them to move on. That's not based on NA, or the whole host of inept managers we've had in charge over the years. I just don't think they are savvy enough for modern day football.

Whilst that's true, why take the risk? I'm sure most would agree that with Malky in charge we'd have been 90% certain we'd at least make the play-offs. Now we've no idea whether we're in for a strong season challenging for promotion, or fighting off relegation again.

    This is a joke, right?

I don't know why they are doing this to us, but if he wasn't good enough eight years ago then why now? We're meant to have progressed FFS, we've just deliberately turned around and started walking backwards.

The things I would say if I had the board of directors in a room right now are not worth repeating on here...

    On the Ball City.

There should be a petition sent to the board highlighting many of the above issues - not criticism directed at NA, more about the lack of ambition for a football club has/had an opportunity to be at the big boys table for many years- i think we'll be on the naughty step this season. Football has moved on a long way (and it some ways regressed) and it does feel as of they really are out of their depth.

I've never signed a petition in my life. This would happily be my first.

    Perhaps you would rather have
    Vincent Tam or
    Randy Lerner or
    Mike Ashley or
    Massimo Cellino or
    Tony Fernandes or
    Assem Allam etc etc.

    Boy you have short memories.

That would have a detrimental effect on the players and the manager though, how do you think they would feel if such a petition was to be started?, nothing is going to change, Adams is in charge. I think the fans will turn on him quickly if he loses his first few games though, fingers crossed.

So you found 6 owners that are doing a worse job than our lot? Only 6?

From that I'd say our owners fit quite snuggly onto that list.

3 of those on your list currently head up premier league clubs. You might not like how they do things, but they still do those things better than our lot.

Cellino the jury is out for me. It's just the foreign owner bogeyman you are scared of. Delia and co talk enough about that for it to mean they'll maintain a strangle hold for a good while yet, so don't worry yourself too much.

Fernandes? Not sure he's be on my list and 50/50 chance of being back in the prem in a weeks time. Taken advantage of but don't think he'll make same mistakes.

Reckon you should follow that up with a list of clubs with foreign owners that are actually doing alright.

I never turned on Hughton and I won't with Neil. I'm just questioning the decision, it happens if it's not something you want or expecting. But as you and I said before, just because it's not my choice, doesn't necessarily means it's the wrong one.
