yes, and this is actually annoying me as much as the decision! it was obviously a case of 'anyone but hughton' but that is a rather stupid way of approaching it

The key thing here is there was a chance to start afresh. Even if we were all differing on the appointment we would have said lets get behind him/her, a new season...etc, but no. We've kept a hangover from relegation. Already you can feel the small feeling of optimism evaporate away and the disappointment of being relegated for me has now been enhanced. Imagine the players like Hooper and Snodgrass thinking I might stay if Lennon comes. They must be thinking under ambition, which will not bode well.

Have lost all faith in the Board. We made mistakes they say and will learn but obviously they have not.

Always a chance it could work but simply cannot see it I'm afraid. Actually after this news do feel worse today than when we actually got relegated.

Personally I thought the appointment of Adams at that stage of the season was really daft and a lot of other fans did too.

I've been scouring a few boards.

    Virtually all are livid

At the end of the day he's our manager, moaning won't change that, so lets just keep our fingers crossed. I reckon if he loses a load of games at the start of the season he will be given the boot pretty quickly anyway as they won't want to make the same mistake twice and wait too long.

I haven't seen a single positive reaction to the decision itself. People have tried to brush over it and say we need to support the team but that just completely misses the point.

I'm only saying that because I didn't dislike Hughton before he joined us. Just luke warm.

But knowing what I do about Hughton now, I would go for Adams just on principle.

Of course I wouldn't touch either with a barge pole if I had my way

Is anyone, ANYONE, pleased that Neeyul has the job permanently ? WTF were the board thinking they must have known that it would get a reaction like this surely ? So much for King McNasty eh ?

Or we could come flying out the blocks, be riding high in the top three and over-the-top negative mugs like you might just have egg all over your face.

Let's give the bloke a ****ing chance, some of the **** I've read in the last hour and a half makes me ****ing mad!!

the only way you can possibly justify it is to say he will bring through the youth team.

that'll be a youth team, most of whom aren't ready for the championship.

They will certainly know in the morning, the vitriol is worse than what Hughton got.

You have to be ****ing kidding me.

What could the rationale possiblt have been behind appointing Adams over Zola?

Moronic decision. I can't believe the board have gambled so spectacularly. There was no need.

    On the ****ing Ball City.
