So I got to thinking, who would you like to face in the opening match next season?

History shows that it'll most likely be a london club. Wouldnt be surprised if its Arsenal away

In Europe, anybody. In the Pl, Man U. That way, if we lose, our ****ness will be covered up by the ****fest over Van Gaal.

Would like to avoid a newly promoted team and the top 4. Sunderland at home would be great :)

Deffo hope to avoid a newly promoted club until September.

That's my only concern as I'd be happy with a hiding to nothing (a top 6 club) or a decent chance of points at home: NUFC; Stoke, WHU et al.

Prob might be best to avoid Sunlan until the likely rot sets in, plus they’d be pumped as they now see us and NUFC as their biggest games of the season.

I think we will get a home game this time, and probably will be against West Brom, Villa or the like.

In the PL Arsenal (H) kick the sh*** out of them, in Europe an Irish team would be nice.

Would love to start against Arsenal. The boys would be frothing at the bit at a chance for redemption. Best time to get them while the FA Cup is still fresh.

Avoid promoted teams away, full of confidence. Someone about our level at home would be nice so Sunderland, Villa, WBA

I refuse to be the person who comes on here saying we play 19 games at home and 19 games away so it doesn't matter which order we play them in. So i won't

I'd like to start with 3 points, so a team that's going to be around our position all Season at home would be nice.
