    Hope this is horse crap.......

Moussa Sissoko looks to be heading for the Newcastle exit door after his agent claimed they are open to all offers.

Alan Pardew will be loathed to lose Sissoko, who was a key part of his midfield last season, but the player's agent seems to be touting him for a summer move away from St James' Park.
Pardew already has to fill the huge void left by the departure of Yohan Cabaye to Paris Saint Germain and the loss of Sissoko would come as another hammer blow.
The 24-year-old has been included in the France squad that will take part in the World Cup in Brazil this summer and he will get a chance to showcase his talents on the biggest stage of all.
"He has only a year and a half on his contract at Newcastle and we are open to all proposals", his agent Frederic Guerra told Eurosport.
Pardew will be hoping the arrival of some quality players over the summer will convince the midfielder Newcastle are heading in the right direction and he will want to stay.

I'd be over the moon if we could get 8+ for Moussa Sissoko and spend only half of that buying someone better to replace him.

Personally I expect next year to be his year.
He has been great IMHO down the right this year.

In regards to his contract, I think he agent is saying he's 1 and a half years in to it. He did sign for 6 and a half years so there are five more years left on his contract.

We were always a stepping stone so it will happen at some stage. I know he can be lazy and is not one when the cips are down, but I think he is a good player to have. He has looked poor whenever played centrally and I still think his unwillingness to knuckle down in there would be a problem. Since going to the right though he has done a pretty good job. As long as you have a solid base elsewhere in the team, I think you can carry a few of his bad points.

We are in the best possible position to either keep hold of Sissoko or demand a big fee. French international with 5 years left on his contract means we can't lose out. (unless there is indeed a stupid clause)

Looks a good player and will get better but I wouldn't say he's set the world alight. Think he'll be even better next season

Think he could be a good player for next year, impressed me the last couple of games of the season in particular. Hope we can keep him otherwise we will have absolutely no goals from midfielders.

He is one of those players that could become amazing. Issue is is that he currently playing in front of a set of fans (not all of us ;) ) that expect him to be playing on fire from the start and then for every single game.

Good player for the Premier League with his strength. He's a bit clumsy at times but he does drive on with the ball and I think we should perhaps look at him and Tiote as a pairing in CM next season. I wouldn't want to lose him and we would only sell for big money which I don't think will be offered by anyone, so I think he's going nowhere. Christ knows what his agent is on about with 1.5 years left on his contract, although the "open to offers" bit might just be the fact that we will sell anyone if the price is right (i.e. mahoosive). Greedy agents are always **** stirring at this time of year.

He is inconsistent and this had lead to him being a scapegoat by some fans. Personally think he's one of our better players.

Runs well with the ball and goes forward, not sideways.

I'd agree with that and also there is the issue (for me at least) of where he is best deployed and therefore what he is going to bring to the team. Overall, though, he is an asset.
