What's the point in this let this be a signal that the thread has reached its destination and terminated.

 

I wonder if the flying scotsman george boyd will put a bid in. If it's not a good bid he wiĺl whistle in the wind. A high level bid will stoke the fires though. Does anyone have timetable of the auction. If we tell enough people and get all aboard the price might get people chuffed.

The auction will probably be in London and I for one will probably be bombing straight down there in hope the price doesn't go off the rails.

 

It gets my pulse up to almost ventricular levels. I generally have to re-watch Summer Holiday to get such a Cliff lift.

We had a train related thread a few weeks back. Just the same lines being repeated.

 

I would tender to agree with you on that. It's hard to guage what sort of price it could bring though. Might have a better idea in a coupler days.
