I would love to see Taarabt come back to Fulham for this reason alone: the joy of watching Felix torture this over-grown baby for the next 12 months. I suspect Taarabt is/was one of those spoilt wonderkids, so loved and worshipped by his family and village that his disgraceful behavior and unprofessionalism was never called into question. And looked him now ...

Well he's a QPR player and I can't see us trying to loan him again, so that seems pretty unlikely, DR. I know what you mean though.

Incredible, just what does he want from the game. Milan are one of the biggest teams on the planet.

Perhaps he got a birthday cake, when he expected a bus pass.

What a fitting end to a horrible season. Bobby Zamora scores a last minute winner for 10 men QPR against Derby to seal promotion. Typical.

I really wanted Derby to win, but the silver lining is that I'm pleased for Bobby.

Close though. Listened to it on the radio and it sounded a cracking game.

    Surly, why the "Saints"?

It was an incredible game and nice to be on the right side of an extra time win for once. :D

Northampton are the Saints because they were originally called "Northampton St. James" when they were founded in the 19th century by a vicar of St James Church in Northampton.

I think the clue is in the photo. There's actually a typo on the sponsor's name, and signing Senderos is just the result of a daft bet.

I remember when Valencia signed Senderos in January they posted a picture on their website of Brede Hangeland instead. They leave Senderos go after six months and Hangeland becomes a free agent. If they go on to sign Hangeland I'll have to wonder did they originally sign Senderos by mistake? Probably a bit far fetched but I live in hope.

Great stuff. Obviously a Legend in the making.

Amazingly, he only played 68 games for us since he joined in 2010 - seems a lot more somehow.

They've added Joe Cole too now. Adding free agent veteran players to patch holes in your squad and save money? Nothing against either player individually, but it sounds alot like the Jol-MacIntosh plan which led to our relegation. I'd be worried if I were a Villa fan.

Letting Albrighton go and signing Joe Cole makes absolutely no sense to me. Signing Philippe Senderos in general doesn't make much sense either.
