I really don't understand the set-up of the club, most of the people on here could improve the current public relations side if given a job at the club and yet with premier league money and exposure they haven't bothered to find someone that is any good at it.
When will you people listen, i've told you all time and time again NO ONE TELLS ME HOW TO RUN MY BUSINESS.
Just been on Look North "We contacted the club but no one was available to comment." Shabby beyond belief....
When there are smaller away followings, will seats be made available to home fans - and at what side? Surely it can't be the North Stand? AKA inbetween the away fans and the most vocal support. I doubt many people would fancy turning up with their kids in that no-mans land - and at the same time it would have a poor impact on the atmosphere. The same problem exists if the spare seats are made available at the East Stand side - given I assume one objective of this is so that we have relatively vocal groups either side of the away fans. Seems a bit of a mess.
apparently there splitting the stand its going to be 3 blocks next to west stand that Hull have, away fans will have the remainder of north stand plus e1 n e2....couldnt be worse if there tried deliberately to squeeze out certain hull fans ...which of course he wouldnt do !
City have N1,2,3,4. Half of N5 is segregation with the away fans taking the rest of N5 + 6,7 and E1,2 &3. please log in to view this image
And that's the problem in effect they are moving the vocal lot as far away from the away fans as possible, half of N5 is being used for segregation in the event of a full away allocation, so E1-3 will probably go in N1-3 leaving the rest for walk ups, it wouldn't surprise me if the police haven't had a massive say in this. Our plod can't seem to cope with a big away following so need to coral them better hence the new fence and entrance
thats one hell of a chunk for away fans...theyll properly create more noise than they did before with that set up, while our own are squeezed next to the west stand flaskers
Deliberately misleading letter from 'Matt Wild, Club Secretary' when he says 'The first option is to relocate to seats behind the goal at the North Stand end'. No mention of any blocks whatsoever. ...or just the usual incompetence from the supine types the club hires to do their dirty work?
Tuck the home 'hooligans' in the least visible part of the ground. Why not stick the away fans in there ffs..???!?!?!?
You can guarantee that if all the seats aren't sold in the new section, some miserable get will buy one, then spend every match complaining about standing, so the stewards will enforce sitting down.
The away support stood up and swore for the whole of last season in the North Stand and paid South Stand prices.
That's because the letter says home fans will have exclusive use of the North Stand. It also says we'll be close to the away supporters to encourage "banter". I guess I'll only know the truth and turn up to buy my season pass.
Ffs it's one of the best things the clubs done for the stadium. If your not in the q to change seats as close as possible to the away you don't deserve to sit on e1-3
The stadium planning was wrong from the start. E1 ect should always have been for the away fans and the full North stand for our own. The price will not be different so whats wrong? I would have thought all of the ultra types would have loved the move
Wouldn't it make more sense for E1-3 to go into N 3-5 so they are right behind goal, have n1-2 for additional home fans as not sure everyone would be happy to find themselves situated between old e1-3 & away fans have n6 as segregation & n7 & e1-3 for away fans. I'm in e4 & we've been given chance to move to north or upper west if w don't want to sit next to away fans
