Toon midfielders......form a queue

With alll the activity and possible departures ........am I alone in thinking there's going to be disappointed players..........not getting regular footie?

We've signed a left winger so where is Ben going to play?
Will Cabaye fit in behind front 2?
And we're looking at Matuidi ...........where would he fit in?

What about Smithy? LOL

 

I imagine that we'll rotate players.

Ben arfa won't be used on the wing, he will be used as a withdrawn striker. We do seem to be a bit on the top heavy side with mid fielders like but it's all about strength and depth.

 

If we bring in Matuidi then I could see us playing a similar kind of the thing to Lille last year...

Im sorry but im sick of this...why do so many people think we are going to play the same 11 players and the same bench for every game next season?

If we're playing one striker up top I really hope we don't use 2 holding midfielders - way too negative ! If we are away at a good side then yes possibly cabaye and Tiote Holding with Ben arfa AM...

I think we should have a flattish middle 4 with Ben Arfa the link up man between Midfield and Sturridge

 

With our usual luck with injuries everyone should get games, but we may have to rotate a bit.

 

Injuries plague us, good to have a lot of talent and hopefully developing a good system that allows for lots of players to contribute

 

This . Its why I can't generally be bothered with formation porn threads. Rotation, injuries, suspensions, stategic changes based upon opposition and african nations will mean that we will rarely put the same team out two weeks running. Just be happy that we will have more choices and there will be competition for places.
