So you make something up completely and when called out on it...you revert to a completely different part of the debate. You have a habit for doing that, as noticed by many people. I'm bored of this now, it's impossible to talk to a man with such a chip on his shoulder, you will literally say anything just to try and keep up appearances...it's an internet forum man. <doh> Catch you later Cest the second.

They're called facts, I'm not surprised you're not familiar with them.

Amazing how bitter some mags have been this season. Somehow, getting to Wembley is a non-event and then the "miracle" escape wasn't all that, after all. Strange...

Then again, a couple of 3-0 homers on the trot might have coloured their vision :)

    (Oh no! Another smiley...)

They`re desperately disappointed we didn`t go down. Had their little hearts set on it. Awful for them.

An oxymoron, chum, is a figure of speech that juxtaposes elements which are contradictory. "Premier League history" is no more an oxymoron than "English history". Of course there was top level football before the PL, hence the "Premier League" reference defining what I had put in my signature to the PL era. It really isn't difficult.

As for your "counter", you've just been making yourself look stupid and jealous. Unless, of course, you ARE stupid and jealous, in which case it's just you being you. In any event, I shall amend my signature in your honour.

I've presented nothing but facts that show our escape surpasses anything West Brom did.
I'm using them as a comparison because of the 'bottom at Christmas' thing.

The facts are clear, Sunderland had to win 4 of their last 6 to stay up ........ West Brom only had to win one of theirs.

West Brom were only in the bottom 3 on GD whereas we were 7 points adrift.

If anyone can't see that Sunderland's escape is the greatest it's because they're bitter little people who can't admit they're wrong.

As Pops says, their little hearts were set on us going down and now they're broken <laugh>

When I first read the WBA escape 'miracle' I assume people were referring to the season when they were bottom of the league going into the last game of the season - that was a pretty amazing escape to be fair but was only one day of football. Mental to not get relegated from there.

Good shout although they were pretty safe after January and never went back in the drop zone.

They were only bottom for 1 game after November and even then they were only 1 point from 4th bottom.

They had 17 or 18 games to make up that difference on the 3 teams above them.

They're now claiming they didn't really say anything of the sort .....

.... just like they never said 'King Kevin', 'Messiah', 'Geordie Nation', 'Robson out', etc etc etc
