http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/swansea-transfers-ravel-morrison-west-3558523 Seems Swans are moving on Ravel Morrison - at £3.75million, a bargain price compared to a £10m fee suggested at the beginning of the season. Raved about by Fergie, he had discipline issues there. He started fine at West Ham but then drifted out. Can't help but think that the football they play didn't help there - and two very authoritarian managers. His greater success with QPR might reflect that maybe softly, softly Monk might have more luck with him in an attacking side. It might be a good idea for him to be in a smaller city with fewer distractions. For the price, might be worth a gamble. He has looked like a hell of a player, and he would compliment Shelvey quite well. Any thoughts?
You're assuming all will still be with us Norway. Looks like there might be some movement. I like Morrison and think he'll be a top player some day and Swansea could be the place where he finds a home.
I think theyre will be plenty of room for him by the time the season starts . Lots of player and financial potential here and should snap him up quickly to keep other teams chance of joining the race to sign him down to a dull roar.
True but its safe to say that Ravel would at least be behind JJS ,Ki and Pablo his position is one where IMO we dont need to make stronger. judging by what monk said and the policy of fitting in club signings the likes of Ki look nailed on to return, while JJS is going to be told the position is his to lose if we dont sign JDG . Morrision has hardly pulled up trees at QPR in the championship anyway, was sub in the play off games and was IMO average for West Ham before being bombed out, he is apparently on 50k a week as well and has a history of being bit of a problem ,though im guessing he has perhaps grown out of that. For our club he seems like totally the wrong player in a position we are already well covered in regardless if Michu,Poz or JDG are gone
I can remember some saying Dyer being to much baggage when he first came , but he's travelled well with us to the top
No no no..what was said was that he likes to steal baggage !.. Don't remember anybody on 606 saying dyer was a bad move though, soe concerns that he was crap at sheff utd
People with a norway connection generally have short memories ...also ... the problem with Norway is ...( just funning norway )
Do fans think that clubs flick though players list and stop at a page and say lets go for him he has a catchy name.. All our targets have been watched for a long time and if he ever comes here then someone must think he is the right player for us and he has something to offer...It don't always work out as we know but if the club is interested then it will be for a good reason...
