Loving the sour reaction of the BBC and the ugly, man hating Feminist lobby to the news that Richard Scudamore is keeping his job. Sad that it is a crime to these minority obsessed twats to have a sense of humour these days.

Does Scudamore have a sense of humour? I've never found him funny. He's hardly Michael McIntyre now is he??

Paul Elliot was forced to resign for using the N word in a text message to another former black footballer........ Richard Scudamore can use sexist language in an email and then can say "Feck you" I ain't giving up a cushdy job for anyone.

    Funny old world <ok>

We all make mistakes, so why vilify the man?

I bet every person on the planet has made an offensive comment at some point, yet we don't all resign, do we?

Don't get me started on Paul Elliott. :headbang:

    Predictable responses.
Personally I'm never averse to seeing the Great and Good being shown up like this.

    Depends who it is, FHB.

We're not talking about a cardinal sin, so surely the guy deserves a second chance?

It's not a hanging offence, but if someone in his position is a closet moron I quite like to know about it.

The point is he leads a powerful group who preach about how important women are to football & then when the women are away from the blokes he lets his corporate face slip & shows he doesn't give a hoot about women. If he feels like that he shouldn't be saying the opposite, oh I forgot there's lots of money to be made, so its ok & the blokes who make this money, thanks largely to Scuda will back him. Not saying he should be sacked from his mega bucks job, its just big business & no real surprise.

Whilst i disagree withe the comments made by Scudamore in a private email, i have to recognise that it was just that, a private email accessed illegally and sent on to a newspaper by the same person who breached the privacy of the individual receiving and sending the email. Then big brother thought police start getting involved and the individual who may have made a risque comment is publically vilified by the people who cannot see where the wrong doing actually is.

It is time that both the pa who illegally appropriated the email and the Daily Mirror who printed the stolen data were prosecuted b y the information commissioner. This goes to show that the press can ignore the Leverson findings if it is in the interests of the luvvies. I dont see Hugh Grant jumping up and down about the breach of Scudamores rights to privacy.

There's no such thing as a private e-mail.

The jokey comments contained in Scudamore's e mails are the sort that I guess 95% of football fans would make.

The last time I saw so many dungaree-clad man haters on the rampage was during my last walk down Brighton sea front.

Hopefully most men grow out of this sort of stuff by the time they're Scudamore's age.

Harmless banter. Women's football is absolutely terrible, 10 year old boys can play it better. Women will never have the physiques to play football to a decent level. Why is it out-of-bounds to some to say so?

    Top post, SVC. <applause>

Personally, I can't help but enjoy a bit of bawdy banter.

Vol you can say that, I can say that, but someone in charge of a multi million pound business which in part sells itself on wanting to bring women into the world of football cannot be seen to say that. Its as if you let slip in a private conversation that you are secretly petitioning Roland for Powell to come back. It shows all your public utterances are two faced lies. Fortunately I am confident I can trust your comments to be a true reflection of your views, the same, from now cannot be said about Scudi

There is frequentlya disparity between what is said in public and what is said in private. Scudamore almost certainly beieves in the equality he espouses in the public forum but equally he can privately enjoy a joke which may seem contrary to those public statements. Miliband publicly calls Cameron some very nasty names but privately most of the current politicians will be quite sociable with each other and offer opposing views to the ones they make in the glare of public scrutiny. That is much more hypocritical

The problem is that the sense of humour is no longer allowed in our 24/7 rolling news world which is controlled by luvvies who who have achieved nothing other than being in agreement with other luvvies. Poor Winston Churchill He would have been banished for both his public and private sense of humour as would most of the politicians and leaders who have fought to give us this free thinking society that is anything but.
Time to re read Gibbons decline and fall.

Don't much like what Peter laugh-a-minute Scudamore says in public either. He's been a force in driving the Premier League to become the financial monster it is today. So I won't be joining any wave of sympathy for the poor man.
