Lewis Holtby Nathan Redmond Steve Sidwell No? Amalfitano would be a good addition in my opinion, he's a very positive player. Also, we didn't run out of steam, we focussed on an FA cup final. Sorry Tommy, you're usually pretty good but I don't think you got much right there.
If I was Brendan Rodgers I'd bring Richards, Rodwell and Lescott to Liverpool. They'd be cheap and all have a point to prove and would significantly strengthen Liverpool's squad. Rodwell is probably the biggest gamble, but considering how well Henderson has turned out under Rodgers, it's not so much of a gamble!
If you believe some reports we are in for him , decent player and improves on what we have in my eyes
The Irish Times ran an article when we signed Long, stating he'd significantly increased his wages when he signed for us, they believed his new deal was £40k a week.
Well Holtby is technically a Spurs player, but I'd have him if he's available. I just think that for the money Amalfitano would cost, we could get a better player, especially considering his wages from his parent club would be pretty big. Thinking about it, Id take Aron Gunnarson from Cardiff. His long throw ins would be a great addition, especially if Dungeon isn't going to feature.
Jack Rodwell is in the same boat as what Ton Huddlestone was in this time last year. He needs a regular start with a team and i dont think that any top team will take the risk. So Rodwell may well be a good shout for us. You never know John. Nothing should surprise us now especially with Steve Bruce as manager. With NO transfer fees involved it would not be out of our league anymore. Richards and Rodwell would be great summer business along with Livermore.
