Now looks like Southampton could join in the bidding for Caulker to replace Lovren if he goes to Liverpool along with Lallana. They'll certainly have the money available if they get the reported £40M they want off Rodgers for the pair of them.
That makes a hell of a lot more sense - doing it for the whole sum would have made it near impossible to get your money back.
i hope they keep all their players personally, its such a shame when lesser clubs get good players and could be on the verge of moving up the table, then just sell all their players and go back to square one…… southampton could do much worse, we will not make any money on caulker, but we won't lose any at least…...
One thing is for sure and that is caulker and Marshal will not be cardiff players next season but there is no way any clubs like Liverpool or man utd would want them, They are not that standard of players and will probably be snapped up by one of the lesser premiership sides....
Most Swans fans know we're a "lesser Premiership" side and have no problem with that. I tend to think the word "Premiership" is the one that counts though, don't you Dai?
I will be surprised if Cardiff get all 8 million back for Caulker but hope you do . Unlike some swan fans , I would take Chico over both Williams and Caulker . Chico has a ton more grit than either and gets a bad rap for his aggressive play and we have very little aggressiveness from other players .
Can you afford 2 or 3 reds per season from someone you regard as a key player? Plus a punch up with the boss? By the way DB, it's Premier League. Might only have been there a season but I know that much. Premiership was dropped several years ago.
To much made over "Brickgate " . Caulker is overpriced and if Williams is sold , it will be for to much . Chico cost 1.5 million . We sold Allen to the "Reds " for 15 million , 3 times more than Cardiff sold Ramsey to another team in red I might add , so we have a bit of wiggle room when it comes to transfers . Hope you guys give Ole a bit of time to create " His Team " , I really think he will come good with his knowledge and connections now that he has time to build without pressure . Anyways , was never a big Caulker fan , even when he was with us.
Give ole time Time to do what exactly. He is bloody useless as a manager and should be in the non league as that is about his standard, Cardiff can do far better than him for gods sake, At least monk knows what he is doing at swansea.
Please let this be bullshit or City really are in danger of becoming Tanchester United the Old Trafford Reserves Side. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/footb...hester-united-misfit-federico-macheda-3604009
Hasn't really had a chance at United. Could very well be a great Championship striker, in the right team. What worries me is the amount of loan teams he has been to and how unsuccessful he has been at the clubs. 10 goals for Birmingham in 18 games last season is not a bad tally. Time will tell IF THIS IS TRUE. Have never got attached to Steven because of this reason. If he goes, all the best to him. Would be a great player for Liverpool

Jay - I don't think we need fresh threads about every paper rumour mate. I saw Bob's link to the story on your Paper Tall #2 thread - OK with you if I merge it?
