Of course labour are 40-50 seats down from the last election in the south..... and the tories will never make headway oop north... too grim...
I was listening to some guy from Liverpool recently saying just how much the city had changed for the better. The regeneration he was happy to admit came about through the efforts of my close neighbour in England, Mr Heseltine. Businessman, Euro supporter, Tory elite, didn't actually matter to that man, he was proud of his city again.
whatever your political leaning an interesting article by the telegraph http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/pol...en-and-only-Nigel-Farage-is-profiting.html?fb
As a victim of mild racism ie not getting a job(or overlooked for promotion because I`m english ) I am mildy racist but only against Norwegians fairs fair. If someone can do a job well then I dont care about their colour race creed etc I would only ask they are truthful Honest and hard working, and can do job well. My dislikes are lazy people ,deceitful people and dishonest people its good to Help folk that are genuinely needy and ferret out the scroungers! Just thought I would clear that up
Oh yes lets give more to the poor EU http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...opping-expose-Brussels-elite-gorge-money.html
I never thought I would see the day that someone actually tried to use quotes from the super rag the Daily Mail. If ever there was a paper that deserved less respect than the Sun I would expect the Mail to be in the running. What next? Quotes from the Dandy and Beano?
Whilst I would agree with your sentiments regarding the Daily Mail Lenny - I notice that you have not commented on the content. Everything it states is everything that is wrong with the EU and is why I want to leave it as quickly as possible. What purpose can having EU embassies in countries around the world have apart from making more jobs for the unelected political elite.
I'm sorry but I do not believe a word of what is printed on the toilet paper that purports to be the Daily Mail Newspaper. They were the ones who told us about the EU requiring "straight" cucumbers and so on and so on; the fictitious stories about 27000 words to regulate cabbages and all other EU scare stories leave me cold. I do not want to enter into a discussion of an article based on lies and bigotry. The EU is about an international effort at collaboration across a multiple of fronts and I know that the UK's prosperity post joining in 1975 is light years ahead of our performance in the previous 25 years. I fully support any attempt to reform the institutions that govern it, also to reduce bureaucracy in the EU, also to return to member states powers that have no need to be regulated "above" national level. There is a lot wrong with the EU. But there is a lot wrong with most governments in most places. The US government for example but what lunatic would try to split the US into individual states? The EU has and will continue to benefit us for the foreseeable future and I would always challenge it to do better but not favour leaving it.
Leo the EU is wasting so much of uk taxpayers money , I am for europe , we cant be otherwise geographically but I am against the EU which is totally ineffectiveand very costly ask any eastern ukrainian (and yes I am working with one.) I believe in the british public , I believe they have been wanting a viable alternative for a long time , well great news they now have one.
I can give you links to similar articles in telegraph if you like ! I do understand watford fans hatred of the daily Fail due to fat Sam , although I am giving their political editor a chance lol.
This song was written a long time but still holds politically true.
Anyone who thinks that the EU political elite will reform themselves is slightly deluded. Despite not having their budgets signed off by their own auditors for years and years, they carry on spunking the taxes of ordinary hard working citizens or Europe. They have no reason to reform as they see no reason to change, they are not doing anything wrong. If they were a PLC their own regulations would have brought them to book years ago. Just look at the mess they have created with the latest ruling taking on Google with the "forget" ruling - we now have perverts, child molesters and rapists demanding that their pasts are forgotten! It might be easy for Lord Steel to forget about Cyril Smith, but how many children were abused because of his forgiveness?
Tony Blair knew that about 90% of the public never wanted to go into Europe, but he said it was tough ****. I hate him for doing that against peoples wishes.
I see that the PM has promised that The findings of The Chilcot enquiry will be published by the end of the year - 4 years after it concluded. Part of the reason for the delay is to give those named in the findings time to publish their response before it is published. So liars and cheats get time to prepare their cover-up before us ordinary mortals get the chance to see the damnation of Blair and his lap dog colleagues.
