Agreed 100% <ok> Seems some prefer the alternatives we had to Cellino

Not sure if this has already being announced but both Turner lads have been released after 14 year at the club.

Dont get me wrong I wanted him in, and it could have been a disaster if he wasnt!

The shutting down of TA, the manager being called out, massive staff clearance including the old guard of gray lormier etc must make you sit up and take notice. I'm not saying its not the right thing to do i'm just saying its happening on his watch!

Proof will be if he sign anyone/buy back Elland Road

I'm half expecting something along the line of we didnt realise what a rebuilding job needs to be done and all the promises we had been told will fail to deliever in an attempt to plug the gaps. Which is fair enough really, but it stinks of previous regimes spin. DD should have ironed all this out as well, so he should have known exactly what he was buying.

Again, let me Reiterate I am a Cellino supporter so theres no hidden agenda in my post, I'm simply commenting on what I have seen over the last few years and dont want the cycle to continue

The question I would be asking MasterBates Cellino - why the **** are you and your manager writing to each other, have your phones been cut off aswell?

TBF Bucks, Cellino probably thought Cagliari would be gone now - the fact that it isn't means he's going to have to foot the bill for them as well as Leeds all Summer - lots of outlay and no income !!

There's a lot of talk about Cellino and buying back Elland Road, and I often see on twitter it's used as a mark of Cellino failing that he hasn't bought it back yet.

Am I going crazy, or did he not make a statement soon after taking over that said he would have to revise his promise from buying back in the first week to buying back in the first year because of the financial mess the club was in?

Agree, thats another factor and its good business sense. Even if he has buckets loads of cash he shouldnt be throwing it away <ok>

I think he told Gary Cooper that LUST were welocome to purchase the ground as opposed to buying a share in the club?

    Morning All,

I don't know where to start with this one.

Let's start with the Daily Star 'story'. Do you really, really believe this? No official announcement, no other paper involved, and no ITK'ers leaking details. So the Daily Star got a scoop? Really? Take a look in the mirror & see someone stupidly gullible if you believe this. It's a fabrication & we're supposed to fall for it & 'react'.

40 full time staff? Perhaps it's true, but I refer you to the paragraph above. 400 part timers? Is this groundstaff like burger sellers, bouncers etc? We don't even employ them - they work for a 3rd party. Can't imagine us employing 400 part-timers. Complete fabrication imo.

Closing Thorp Arch - has anyone read the facts on this? He's simply closing the premises down. The people employed there are moving to Elland Rd. So it's only a sensible temporary premises closure - not a permanent closure, and not a cull of the staff there. This should have no bearing on the funding received, & is just pure scaremongering. Carbone has already stated that the training premises & Academy have a future. He's also reaffirmed that he's not being paid, btw!

Now the Alison Royston situation - that may turn out to be a story! Would love to know the details of that one. Can't wait!

What a lovely day to have a birthday celebrated a rather lot last night but will try and carry on for the next 2 days when we are having a barbeque
Cellino is going to concentrate on youth and younger players I feel he will give Matt a long term contract and try to remove Hunt BM and a lot of hangers on really exciting times I really hope he pulls it off certainly hit won,t be for the lack of trying on this day we lost the final of the cup winners cup the referee was bribed by the Milan club this was told to Don before the game by a friend of mine who happened to be managing in Greece at the time

Cellino and his surgical knife: Yes get rid of all the deadwood and hangers on and temp staff, all to trim the wage bill. Offload deadwood players and hopefully get the police to prosecute this secretary and Haigh for fraud and anything else.

I have to give him my 100% backing because he's not done anything wrong yet, and we need to see if we'll be bringing in some decent players this summer. Also see what he does regarding ER/TA and the manager. I will be a bit peed off if benny gets the job because he doesn't have the experience for the fight in this league yet.
