The club has sold 8,500 season tickets thus far, which is an increase on last year's sales for the same period. Are more fans renewing because of the price slashing? Or is it because fans see a brighter future with the Belgians at the helm? Either way, these figures are great for the club and hopefully show that we'll be competitive in the Championship during 2014/15. As yet, I haven't renewed and I'm not even sure if I will/can; the cost of travelling is increasing and last year saw thousands of pounds spent on planes, trains, automobiles, boats - and a rickshaw! Regardless of this, however, can anyone tell me the latest date for renewing and keeping my regular seat? Ta.
A bit of bothi would say cheap prices bring people in for sure, but now MS&TJ have left maybe some of that doon and gloom has gone with them
i dont think the price this year is comparable. they've taken out the 2 free tickets from the booklet.
Did anyone use the freebies last season i did one, and talking to people, when i did they were like oh S**t forgot about them
I used all mine up for the first match against Boro, and then none of my guests bothered to return. Funny that, eh?
I used one for the Birmingham game and tried to use the other for the Blackburn only to be told that this was a gold game by the ticket office (does anyone remember if this was advertised on the website as I would never have thought Blackburn would have been a gold game. In my rage that between us me and my mate now had to find £30 I threw the slip in the bin, cutting off my nose to spite my face as that same friend was willing to come to the Watford game FOC.
I think Blackburn game was publicised before the start of the season as it stood out as an unusual one. I think it was "Gold" because it was supposed to be the last home match of the season.
