"obviously we need to establish ourselves first". So they are another club coming up and want to stay here. What happens after is another matter.

Leicester City, Leicester City! Are you QPR in disguise!
Remember QPR hitting the Premiership and buying 14 new players...straight back down with masses of over paid has beens and expensive kids that aren't good enough

We bought a few (4 or 5 I think) quality players from the top Championship and foreign. QPR bought 14 from burnt out Prem players to failed youngsters who promised a lot but failed with their previous clubs.
Big difference but with Leicester they have a huge budget to spend and agents will help them waste it if they are not very careful

Pretty sure they tried spending big whilst in the Championship, bringing in Sven as a big name manager to try and buy success. It didn't end well, and they ended up going back to Pearson, who built a good team on a tighter budget, whilst shipping out the expensive rubbish that he had inherited. I don't think this bodes well for Pearson, he seems like the kind of manager who would rather build a squad of players more cheaply than spend big amounts on individuals who may rock the boat. I wouldn't be surprised to see him sacked this year in favour of a big name manager.

He is the sensible type. If the owner insists that he buy a new team, that could cause a rift. Pearson leaves, Redknapp comes in to spend the money, same old story. I'm calling it now.
