    Hmm not bad odds that...

I've been thinking more about pardew staying next season and having a choice in what sort of bottomfeeders he feels he needs to relegate us next year and the very thought makes me want to haemorrhage from my arsehole and die in the f**king gutter.

I may put £20 from my Mackem winnings on us going down.

That should make us a safe bet to stay up.

Odds on next season mean very little at this stage.

Plenty of players to be bought and sold at all clubs. As an outside bet Southampton could be a shout to get relegated if they lose their manager, Shaw & Lallana. It appears their new owner (the daughter of the previous owner I believe) isn't half as interested in football as her old man was and that she could be looking to service a 27m debt due to last years incoming transfers.

My tip would be Villa, club up for sale, could take months. Is Lerner really going to be funding transfers during this period? Everyone else will steal a march on them when it comes to transfers. Obviously we'd be the exception to that rule so we'd be battling it out with Villa for the recently mentioned Ebanks-Blake <laugh>

For the record the guy is a cart horse, he used to play for Argyle when he was 21/22 so I've seen a bti of him and even then he was slow as f*ck. He's a league 1 player at best.

Can you just imagine what a remarkable strike partnership Ebanks-Blake and Shola could make.

They'd have the opposition shaking in their shoes, and not being able to cope with them.

Well maybe not shaking in their shoes but laughing their heads off and not being able to cope with them.

I had a £20 bet on us going down this season. The bet was happily fooked by Christmas, thanks to two guys who we won't have next season. So it'll be another £20 this summer.
I just don't believe that we'll properly replace Remy and Cabaye - and also not Debuchy if he gets what he wants (away). And as for the £60m war chest, you've got to laugh.

I believe next season could be tougher, the club's coming up (leicester have cash) could be stronger than last time and have more chance if staying up,

Well in the pre-season before the one just gone, Newcastle were around 10s on Betfair for relegation and I spent some time trading around that price. Which translated into standard odds would be around 9/1, perhaps a little less.

This may be another good time to have a pile of trades during the close season.

I wouldn't bet against us but I certainly wont be betting on us anytime in the near future.
