The anthem, regardless of who sings it is tradition, tradition is a thing that a lot of people have been banging on about a lot this season. If you don't want to sing it then grab an extra beer & down it until kick off.

I'm 20 and I think that singing the National Anthem at your national stadium is something that should be done. It's the FA Cup ffs

    Same.

The only time a nation shouldn't sing it's national anthem is in Spain. Because it's instrumental.

Not much of a piss take then?

It should be Lewis sings one and Mooro sings the other.

Not fussed who sings what but how can Lewis get picked to sing and not Mooro?

They both won TV talent contests so are on exactly the same level.

I'm gonna piss in a bottle and lob it her in protest.

Anyone know the timings or other pre match entertainment at Wembley? Or do I get an extra few beers in?

Stop been **** Matt! The national anthem is tradition and part of the excitement seeing City play in a game important enough for it to be sung in. The fact our anthem's **** is bit of a shame but it's still ours.

Or perhaps you could politely say you don't agree and give a valid reason why

At no point did I say old timers was a derogatory thing. I meant in more in the sense that you were probably brought up with it for a lot longer and therefore would find it important. Also I'm far from a chav.

I'm still waiting for a valid reason why it should be dropped......

Should we drop the lap of honour, the presentation of the teams (everyone can google them) etc ?
