Incorrect. I thought he's poor and not a pl player, nowhere near the worst in our history. It is a pointless exercise though, no bugger really cares about hearing it and only 2/3 players will bother singing. Plus its not even an international/european game
The vast majority want it - that's why they sing it. It's not sung for the players' benefit. It's because it's a showpiece event of the national sporting calendar and has been since 1872. FFs, shouldn't you be revising or summat?
Maybe its important for old timers then but I just don't see the point in singing a national anthem for a national game. Just my opinion obvs. Also age is irrelevant in regards to having an opinion and I finished college etc years ago

Useless yes, poorest players no. Dean marney ran about a lot but often bruced the ball off the pitch or to the opposition midfielder. Again, just my opinion
