According to Twitter we will have a new shirt sponsor next season, the University of Greenwich. If it's confirmed, nice to have a true local connection, although surely the name will have to be shortened so it can be read from a distance. Wonder how much they will have to pay, and what I'll have to pay to own this new piece of fashion wear.

I like the idea of the sponsor but I'm getting a bit p***ed off that we've had a new kit every year since we dropped out the prem. I used to get one (home or away) every year but gave up as I had my Charlton shirts that I hardly wore then work shirts!
Must have got a low 2:2 then because not many of us accepted the excuses in the end I don't mind, not had a new shirt since the Llnera days, really should get a new one. Hope the uni is giving us a fair amount of money out of it though, otherwise bit gutted we haven't gone for some company that can give us money we probably need as I don't see RD using his own money, maybe some sponsor money is all that is going to fund transfers.
I would be amazed if we were getting any money out of this deal at all, the UoG is a pet organisation for the mandarins at Woolwich town hall..... it is all probably part of the planning approval for Sparrows as Mary says
