    Ashley Cole has quit, as he is not in squad.
    Hodgson is taking Luke Young...and has explained to Cole he wants to take younger players
    well done Hodgson

    Perhaps this World Cup campaign will turn out better than expected

    No point taking Dad's Army (with the exception of Gerrard, who has earned it) to Brazil. Take the kids, let them play with freedom and we may cause a bit of a stir - by which I mean getting out of the group.

    Why did Cole feel the need to tell the world before the squad was announced?

    Hopefully that will mean that the three main ****-stirrers from South Africa - Terry, Coles and Lampard - will have no more influence. (Although I hear JT has just purchased an England strip in case he feels the need to run on and have his picture taken with the squad.)
