Yesterday during the game at first it looked as if he couldnt give a damn about us and as if he was just making up the numbers

But then after a closer look he seemed to be protecting his left hand I believe, after half time he had a bandage on it too...

After a quick look around twitter it would appear he had a broken wrist...

Therefore why on earth would we play him...

Surely slotting Colback left back and then playing Ba/Giacc/Gardner or even just a straight swap for Celutska would have been a better option?

Bardo, Cuellar are not doing it for us. Will Gus go in for the Argentinian defender again in the summer, can we get Danny rose back ?, which players from Norwich, Fulham and Cardiff would make us better ?.

Did we play him to put him the shop window? (As a favour to him?)

Bards has generally played well for us , it can not have been easy for him after all the bad publicity and humiliation, if he does leave we should wish him well. Its a shame his last game was not a memorable one, but he did put in some marathon performances mid season, and we all should be grateful that he did not hide but came out fighting.

Aye, hes done a lot of good for us over the years, and he was the only player that has cared about us before under a few previous managers, scored some cracking goals too. Will always get a good reception from me like

    I don't really rate bardsley.
He can have good games but is inconsistent.

Defensively he is caught out of position too easily.

Going forward he is so wasteful with the ball it's unreal. It's no surprise that vergini came in at right back and we were a better defensive unti.

His off field antics still leave a bitter taste for me.

Happy to see him go. I would like to see a good quality right back brought in.

Im undecided over Bardsleys future. His time at sunderland has been succesful he has consistently been one of our better players over the last 4 or 5 seasons. Hes a no nonsense full back who likes a tackle and has popped up with some fantastic goals. If he stays hes a good squad player probably not good enough on the ball to take us any further but will be a decent squad player. Think he is a good addition to any newly promoted side or a championship promotion contender but not what a mid table team will be looking for. Will forever be remembered for his 119th minute goal at Old Trafford even if it was a huge goalkeeping error and if he does leave I will remember his time here as positive. In short thanks bardo for your effort commitment and occasional wonder goals and I wish you well in the future.

    Time to move on sadly.

Then again, i wouldn't be upset if he got offered a short contract. I kinda like Bardo, same as Catts and Fletcher, for some reason i like all 3 of them players.

Agree with this, it's no coincidence that we were more solid when he wasn't in the team! Maybe he has to much influence over the others, who knows but IMO he could only be considered as a back up (on a representative wage) otherwise go for a new right back with Vergini as back up.
