He's a one, Taarabt, isn't he? Quits Morocco every time he's left on the bench, drops Rangers like a hot potato the minute there's half a chance of a move... and no doubt expects to be the first name on our team-sheet if it doesn't come off !

If Taarabt fails to secure that interim move to Real Toon, how do you think he'll be received by the home fans against Bolton?

Couldn't happen in football but imagine the impact of a deathly silence around the ground when he scores!!!

well, the loveable yanks certainly think he's worth hanging onto. sadly, the article's "facts" are a bit off, and the logic all over the place. (you couldn't make up that title though!)

EPL 2011/2012: QPR Can Dominate Their Presence in the Premier League

Of all the teams that have been promoted this season, Queens Park Rangers are making a comeback for the first time in 15 years.

Neil Warnock's side won the Championship with a convincing 88 points. The Hoops lost six games in the league but were forcing their way to the top of the table.

Even the FA saga regarding the ownership of Argentinian midfielder Faurlin failed to derail the players, as they kept their focus and professionalism to win the title.

Neil Warnock's player of the season has to be the talented Adel Taarabt. The 21 year old has scored 19 goals this season, finishing as the top scorer in the league. Taarabt was tops in assists with 16 goals made.

The player often described as a fantastic show-boater was named Championship Player of the Season 2010/2011. Taarabt has a wonderful eye for goal, pace and an exquisite first touch. Defenders in the Premier League will hate playing against him.

The talented attacking midfielder loves running at defenders and switching direction. He has bags of skills that drag defenders out of place and loves setting up goals. He is already an all round player. The latest rumours state that Chelsea and Arsenal are keen to sign him.

QPR can stay in the Premier League. They have a wonderful youngster and and a good team. They need to build on it and build the team around Taarabt. It is crucial he stays for at least six months and players are brought in to support him. It is self destructive to rely on a young player like Taarabt in the Premier League.

There are a number of players with Premier League experience who have been released this summer and would fit in well at QPR, notably Nigel Reo-Cocker, John Carew, James McFadden, Benjani, Jlloyd Samuel, Zoltan Gera, Jonathan Woodgate, Abdoulaye Méîté, Jonathan Spector, and Matthew Upson.

Now I am not saying all those players should be signed, but according to a report on sporting blog, "Who ate all the pies," they are available on a free transfer. Some of these would be good additions to the squad and can help bolster the squad in terms of depths and top flight experience.

Of all the three teams, QPR have the ingredients, the passion, the fight and the support of a Premier League club that can survive in this league for many years to come.

Yeah, great... but the question was, 'how do you think he'll be received by the home fans against Bolton?'

If he's playing they will cheer him. They know, as we should, that he is a law unto himself half the time and can do the most stupid things and (if we believe the quotes) says things that should really remain private thoughts, but just blurts out.

I am sure that most of the team would bite your leg off to play for one of the top 4 prem clubs or Barcelona, Madrid, Milan, etc, if given the chance, but wouldn't be so stupid as to actually say it out loud.

If he is in the team and performs then who gives a flying .....

    Alright, alright...just a little light-hearted sharing!

Fans reaction will depend heavily on his attitude over the summer weeks. But a rampant ego like his needs a lot of attention, and Warnock can’t be there all summer to micro-manage him. AND he’s not going to mature overnight, especially while his agent’s whispering sweet nothings in his ear and inflating his already overblown sense of entitlement, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he does or says something else to get the fans’ backs up again.

But...most QPR supporters aren’t fair-weather fans, we owe him some gratitude for his contribution last season, so I reckon he’ll be warmly received.

Eamon: Yeah, reckon you're right. Despite the fact that at one time you couldn't say a word against the young man on here, and now so many opinions have been going the other way - at the end of the day, one goal is all it'll take to redeem himself with us. Shows what a fickle bunch we fans are, eh?!!

We should cheer him. He's given us a great deal and, hopefully, will continue to do so. He's young and immature, like I was once, :)and says some silly things. Above all, as he's our most talented player, anything other than cheers would be hugely counter-productive.
