Didn't realise we were the game on Sky choice, so I missed the goal, but since I have been watching I can only say that the Commentators must both be biased Manure fans, to be coming up with the dross that they are trotting out.
To me, this is the first time we have played United as equals. Even our Tiss inspired wins were really against the odds. Today was fascinating because we were equally matched. The first half we totally outplayed them. The 2nd, we lost our way a bit as Utd improved. Our substitutions seemed more political than tactical so they didn't help. All in all it seems to me that we are currently on a par with Man Utd. Wow!
Think we have produced performances capable of beating anyone, but the best sides took advantage when we gave them the opportunity. Suggests there could be more to come from us with a reasonable investment.
No, he kicked him high on the thigh, it was definitely a free kick. Sad about that, because it could otherwise have been 3 games with Vic starting, 3 clean sheets, which would have made an even more compelling case for his effectiveness.
As I saw it, Vic was swinging his foot to clear the ball, Welbecks knee got in the way and it brought him down, can't really argue with it, it wasn't really an attempt to foul but had the same affect.
They are claiming that Rickie deliberately elbowed Vidic, looks to me from his reaction he (Rickie) wasn't even aware of any contact, he was being sandwiched by both Manure defenders and any movement was clearly involuntary and there was no intent at all which was obvious from the Referees reaction.
I only caught the end of the match, but noticed Wanyama tried his best to tangle his feet up again in front of our goal. United were definitely on top near the end, though we had a late flurry. All's well that end well.
That's brilliant, Wanyama barely moves as the contact is made, Wilshere looks like he has been in a car crash.
I thought Wanyama, stupid free kick aside, was very good today. Not just in winning the ball, but in his movement, his control and most of his passing. It's easy to remember a couple of overhit diagonal balls, but he did make a few too.
Think he just didn't want to say deliberate...wasn't not deliberate sounds much nicer...unless you are Vidic. He said that if there wasn't a goal opportunity he would have said sorry.
Hey, everyone, gather round, come from far & wide and marvel at the man with absolutely no ****ing sense of ****ing humour.
Calm down love, not sure if your aware, but sometimes it's hard to see how someone is coming across via text only.
