Home game - The Cardiff game last season, or the Watford Play Off semi second leg, or the final game when we stayed up in 08/09 - many to choose from

Away game - Wembley 2008 probably - though the FA Cup semi and Barnsley away in 2008 run it close

A part from the obvious ones of the last 6 years. Play off final, FA Cup semi, Cardiff home last yea

The one that stands out was Swansea home in 2003. Made me realize the potential of this club. Top vs second. Delayed kick off, people locked out. Amazing atmosphere.

    City 2-0 MUFC November 74

City at their 70s best, defying the odds, the Red Army, the Doc.

Signature goal from Kenneth Wagstaff 5 mins from time, one of his last for us.

Boo boy turned local lad made good Mally Lord scored the first

City v Yeovil away when we won promotion. The first time I had ever seen us promoted (pretty much the first time if ever seen anything decent happen to us)

There was most of the north of England and beyond supporting Manchester that day (and that season). It felt like an away game for City.

The Doc's toys came out the pram after the game when he whinged about our 'rough' play from the likes of De Vries, Deere, Mally Lord <laugh>

And they had big Jim Holton, Martin Buchan, niggler Macari etc

Chelsea away in the Cup quarter final 2-2 -we were in dream land!!! (this season will surpass that but its taken long enough....)
Recently , as I don't get to many home matches it's got to be this year against Liverpool.

The 4-2 away win at Hillsborough - it was a great night out and the atmosphere was brilliant. We even found a fantastic chippy after we left the ground.
The 4-3 cup defeat at Middlesborough - great atmosphere again and hilarious piss-taking by City support.
The 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge in 1966 - Waggy's second goal in the last minute was one of the best I've seen.
One that hasn't been mentioned - 2-0 away at Huddersfield, the last time City played at their old Leeds Road ground. Non-stop chanting by City fans, fantastic second goal by Dewhirst, very smelly urinals, goal posts for goal posts......mmm!

Hi all, I,ve never replied to this forum before but love it all the same. My absolute favourite game was Liverpool away in the Worthington cup, Tuesday? night? 7000ish City fans. Could not get a ticket for home tie (on sky). Just superb night even though we lost by a country mile! The atmosphere was just fantastic all through the game especially when we drew level at 2-2! John Eyre penalty! Anyhow, look at where we,re at now!

I was at both the Orient and Burnley matches in 1984. I have particular memories of both games. Took an Australian mate of mine to the Orient game, which was his first experience of an English League football match. He got excited when he saw all the Tigers scarves as his family followed the Richmond Tigers in the Aussie Rules. He spent most of the game trying to teach City fans the club's theme song, or drinking or both! For the ill-fated Burnley match, I was on the HCSS minibus and we travelled up and down on the day. Great atmosphere even though we just missed out. Spent most of the time on the way back making sure the designated driver didn't fall asleep at the wheel. I'll be flying out from Australia on Thursday 15th May to go to the FA Cup Final, exactly 30 years to the day of that Burnley match.

Waggy's first game for us, scored 2 and missed a penalty; no clue who it was against. And we went to the game thinking we had overpaid for him!

I've also been to 4 of those 5 and would largely say the same - Emirates first season and Hillsborough really stand out. I also loved the 3-2 defeat at Bramall Lane under Taylor, our fans were magnificent that day.
