You created a thread about Laudrup and monk, it's in the bloody title FFS. You say this is about the board then go and create a new thread about the board. He logical decision is to merge both threads. Now if you want to shove them up your arse, whatever tickles your fancy.

But the fans/media always blame the management.

Some of our under performers need shipping out in the summer.

I read recently that the Chair of the Supporters Trust was against the sacking of Laudrup and against the appointment of Monk. Now, I stand to be corrected on this. The statement was made but I can't be arsed to go back and find out exactly who made it - it was the Chair of a group of supporters though.

As for this ongoing debate, what's done is done whatever side of the fence you sit on. I'd rather wait to see if the full facts emerge and make a further judgement then. But, whatever the "other" facts, Jenkins' disgusting, cowardly (imo) way of handling Laudrup's dismissal, tarnished the image of our club in the eyes of the football world.

100% agree with this. Being dismissed in such a way is extremely distasteful.

I'm not convinced we'll ever hear the complete story, so as a fanbase, it's in our best interests to leave it be. Remember when we dismissed Leon Knight in League 1? Kenny Jackett dismissed him and, at the time, said that he would reveal the reason why he dismissed him when the time was right. A few months later, we'd got rid of Kenny and the truth never surfaced. We all knew Leon was a feisty character, but he was one of our best strikers at the time and it was extremely frustrating for me that the truth never emerged. I still wonder exactly what happened. That situation taught me to not wait for answers from the club. It is what it is, we'll probably never know the complete ins and outs, so unfortunately we probably just have to accept it and move on. If not, there'll still be fans harping on about Laudrup and the board for years to come. That's not a healthy situation for SCFC.

And laudrup was 100% disgusting with the way he ignored the chairman and the board for not doing his job properly. I'm sorry but you don't get sacked for nothing...He made his bed and now he must lie in it....He got himself sacked and that's the way it is or he would still be here....
