Wow, just read on the bbc match build up that you have got to go to the 9th tier of English football to find a team that has scored less than us this season. Shocking. Good job we had a decent defence though. Lincoln Morlands Railway FC, poor buggers.
We still have a few quality players , the 3 Amigos routine that destroyed Lg1 & the Championship consisting of Holt Hoolahoops and Martin seems so far away now. Success in football is like cooking, you can have better ingredients but still serve up inferior meals compared to cheep locally sourced ingredients as long as you get the perfect blend. I imagine Hughton was a pineapple on his pizza man.
Snodgrass and Bassong are definitely off by the sound of it.... and we will have a manager installed by Friday next week.
Like kemp says, "what makes you say that?" If a new man is at the helm by the end of next week it will be either Adams confirmed permanently or Malky, both of which would be totally wrong IMO.
Don't want Snoddy to stay, strong character, gives his all and shows moments of class but overall I think he imbalances the team.
Someone who's usually reliable on behind the scene stuff. He also said McNally is seriously p***** off with himself and wants to put it right and that he's only happy with one of last summer signings and that's Olsson... Wonder what that could mean for the rest.
I agree. Take Carlton Morris, decent holding up play but no pace whatsoever . Both Murphys have pace but their final balls/ decision making is still wayward. Loza has potential and one or two others but a bit of work to do before risking them even in the Chumpionship.
i've watched youth games for years and years and although monumentally delighted when we won the fa youth cup last season, i urged caution because although performing unbelievably well during that run, they were a long way behind many other premier league teams youth sides. in terms of recent norwich youth sides, these are the best we've had since the likes of marshall, cureton, eadie, o'neill, akinbiyi and mills came through the same side. but the majority will never carve a career anywhere near the top flight. most will end up in leagues one and two and maybe even lower. josh murphy has by a long way the best shot of premier league football and its no coincidence that he's already in the first team fold. relegation may well benefit him.
i don't see redmond leaving unless he is desperately unhappy. he isn't quite ready for the premier league yet and a further season in the championship may be vital to his development
Would quite like to see redmond on the right and Murphy on the left sometimes. Would add more pace and creativity to our counter attacking.
Great headline in the Colchester Gazette " Donkeys found wandering on A 12 ". Looks like they are on their way to West Ham.
I can see the sense in this, a bit more space and time to hone his delivery, and begin to think about the ball he wants to play. the Championship would be very good for him
