Long range charts are showing - we've another 4 days or so of changeable weather but high pressure is expected to dominate the UK from Thursday onwards next week. Saturday 17th in London is looking dry, sunny and 22-23c possibly higher. Stay hydrated folks
Weather charts change daily so I'll keep an eye on them and post any changes to the forecast. Stop yawning at the back there.......
No need to check - it’s always hot and sunny for FA Cup Final day. Same as opening game of the season. Same as last game of the season. Unwritten rule innit.
Its always sunny when we play at Wembley and we always win. It always rains when FC go and they always lose.
I'm flying into Manchester on the day & I've got to arrange for my ticket to get there ahead of me before getting to London, checking into my hotel, getting ready & getting to Wembley. Luckily for me it's a 5 o'clock kick off. So I'm hoping it's hot hot hot!
Update: the area of high pressure is still set to dominate from mid-week onwards but by Saturday is may be situated a little further west which means it will draw cooler air from the north (anti-cyclones = clockwise air flow in the northern hemisphere). So Saturday is still looking dry and sunny but not quite as warm as first forecast. I'll update again on Tuesday when it should be able to predict with more certainty.
With a 5pm kick off it will probably be a bit cooler anyway. I have been told the stand I am in (509) gets the sun so I will be taking sunglasses just in case. Feeling quite excited with a week to go.
There is a 30% chance of a downpour or thunderstorm later in the afternoon - don't be surprised to get a soaking.
