Just like it would be unbearable for the RS fans if they lost the title after coming soooooo close to it after such a long wait. No one has ever come that close without wining it. I include United and the toon in that....

I seem to remember, way back when, in the distant past long gone, long before my time and before goalposts had nets, an occasion when the league Championship changed hands in the last 30 seconds of the season. Am I being dull? Is that not 'coming closer than Liverpool this season' without winning it?

 

What is incredible and especially pathetic is that they have not even taken it to the last game of the season.

I just hope City are 1-0 down at half time.

If they are 3 up, Matchday 38 will be effing boring with the the relegation spots and top 4 sorted too.

Steven Gerrard believes Liverpool’s heartbreaking experience will help them win the Barclays Premier League title in the next season.

"This experience is going to take us to the title," Gerrard, 33, told LFC TV. "Whether it is next year or the year after, it will happen pretty soon.
